Solar Wind Sail

I had read about some pretty wild ideas NASA had for alternative methods of propulsion for space travel. One I thought particularly interesting was building a huge sail to catch the solar 'wind' (the constant stream of energetic particles blasting forth from the sun). Supposedly, it would be pretty fast. This conjures up the idea of sailing in space. Ahoy, matey! There's an asteroid dead ahead... hoist the AE-35 antenna...
