It never ceases to amaze me how life-alteringly important things like having a friend such as Teejay can be so random and so easily not even occur.
I met him by the merest chance. A good friend, Drew Blakeman decided he wanted to join a band and play bass (even though he never played before!). Drew saw a 3x5 card on a bulletin board which was an ad for a band looking for a bass player. He called them, and was 'hired'... they would teach him from scratch. The lead singer/guitar player of the Lunamats was Matt Riedl, Teejay's brother. I went to hang out with Drew when he practiced and played, and through that, I met Teej. I owe a big debt to a little 3x5 card I've never even seen.
